 March 12, 2014 Workshop for Elected Officials

In a kick-off event on March 12, 2014, Lisa Lindsey convened a workshop for elected officials and agency heads in the county to present compelling research and information about the serious detrimental effects pesticides can have on children’s health. Speakers included esteemed physician Dr. Myrto Ashe, MD, MPH and Kristin S. Schafer, Policy Director for Pesticide Action Network and author of numerous reports on pesticides and health, most recently A Generation in Jeopardy.
